Planning

Water And Nutrient Neutrality
CGS Civils have the expertise to undertake both water neutrality reports and nutrient neutrality reports (nitrogen and phosphorus) in accordance with Natural England guidance, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable civil engineering.
Soil Infiltration
We undertake soil infiltration or percolation testing to BRE 365 or BS 6297 standards for the discharge of treated effluent. Testing can be carried out by hand or machine excavation as part of a comprehensive civil engineering design process.
Winter Groundwater Monitoring
Many local authorities now require winter groundwater monitoring. As experienced civil engineering consultants, CGS Civils have added this service to our skillset to provide a full suite of services and ensure compliance with planning requirements.
